Baxter

Supported project management and content alignment for Baxter’s Connected Care Group, remediating and modernizing marketing assets after an acquisition. Worked with cross-functional teams through AdProm review in Veeva PromoMats, ensuring every piece met medical, legal, and regulatory standards while keeping production momentum steady.

Following Baxter’s acquisition of Hillrom, the Connected Care Group business unit needed to remediate and rebrand legacy marketing content to align with Baxter’s standards, tone, and regulatory requirements. The initiative involved reviewing and rewriting product copy, digital materials, internal documents and customer-facing assets to reflect Baxter’s global brand voice and compliance guidelines.

The Challenge

The team faced an extensive backlog of content inherited from Hillrom that required both language alignment and regulatory re-approval. Each asset needed to be rewritten to fit Baxter’s messaging framework and then routed through the company’s AdProm (Advertising and Promotion) review process, which includes medical, legal, and regulatory sign-off in Veeva PromoMats. The goal was to streamline this process, ensure compliance, and maintain marketing momentum during the transition.

My Role

Brought in to help move the remediation initiative forward, I served as both project manager and content partner, supporting copy revisions while coordinating cross-functional reviews.

  • Collaborated with marketing, medical, legal, and regulatory teams to move remediated assets through AdProm for approval.

  • Ensured content met Baxter brand standards, style, and claims guidelines.

  • Maintained workflow visibility, timelines, and asset tracking inside Veeva PromoMats.

  • After the remediation phase, continued to manage downstream marketing content development, helping the Connected Care Group push new campaigns and digital materials through AdProm review for on-time deployment.

Outcome

  • Contributed to smoother content workflows and review cycles within AdProm by coordinating cross-functional inputs and timelines.

  • Supported the development and adoption of a consistent, regulatory-compliant content process used across Connected Care Group marketing efforts.

  • Helped strengthen alignment between creative, marketing, and regulatory teams, contributing to faster approvals and fewer revisions.
